Retirement of Trustees
27 September 2019
Two of our very loyal and long-standing Trustees retired at the AGM held on 17 September.
Martina Humber has been a Councillor and advocate for the young people of Pennington and the New Forest for many years and we will miss her advice and support. Martina intends to continue volunteering for young people’s events at St Barbe.
Joanna Close-Brookes has been involved with the St Barbe Museum and our Collections since the early days, her name appears on our original Deed of Trust! She has guided our acquisitions and collections for many years and will continue as a voluntary Consultant Curator in this field but has stood down as a Trustee.
Joanna (left) and Martina (right) are pictured with Sir John de Trafford, Chair of Trustees, receiving a gift of a framed local watercolour from the Trustees.
Two new Trustees will be joining St Barbe shortly.
