Lymington Times archive comes to St Barbe

We are delighted to announce the arrival of the Lymington Times back catalogue, previously housed at Lymington Library to the King Research Room. Visitors to St Barbe can now access the Lymington Times and New Milton Advertiser in microfilm and bound volume formats dating back to 1928, and the Lymington and South Hants Chronicle on microfilm from 1857 – 1932. Local Parish Registers for marriages, burials and baptisms are also now accessible by visitors for Lymington and the surrounding area.
Our research facility offers an opportunity to come and explore our collection, allowing visitors to discover their local family history, where they live or the development of Lymington. The King Research Room is open to the public from Monday – Thursday between 10:00am – 12:00pm, access is available outside of these hours by appointment only.
